[1]-[24]. 24 Preludes (43:17)
The 24 Preludes were a COVID project to compose via improvisation in every major and minor key, taking inspiration from Bach and Chopin who had composed similar sets. Similar to Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier, these Preludes are organized with each major key followed by its parallel minor key, and ascending chromatically from C major. Prelude #22 includes a quotation from Chopin's Prelude #20. Composition dates: November 20 - December 23, 2020.

[25]-[48]. 24 Postludes (32:26)
While the Preludes had already been performed in their entirety, this companion set of 24 Postludes were written specifically for the album release, and take inspiration from a variety of musical genres. The Postludes are organized with each minor key followed by its parallel major key, and end full circle with the final Postlude quoting motifs from the first Prelude. Composition dates: April 26 - May 9, 2023.
